EPISODE 5: Clowns, Part 2 - "IT" (1990) - presented by Joe

from Stabby Road · host Stabby Road

So now that you've come for Art the Clown, stay for our regularly scheduled hour of fun, laughs, facts and some dirty talk. Today Joe continues our theme of "Clowns", with a look st the 1990 network television adaptation of Stephen King's It. In it, we discover that not every flashback in movies took place in the 1980s, Sonia talks about her encounter with legend Tim Curry and Rob once again proves that he knows more about cinema than most people. Of note: we recorded this episode MONTHS ago. At the time, we thought this would be the first, H1K the second, and then Terrifier, but when we found out the premiere was Oct. 6, we shot and posted last week's episode in a week. So, any historical references from a few months ago need to be taken in the context of their times. This is the second episode in our series on "Clowns", so come back to hear our thoughts on: Episode 6 - October 20: "House of 1000 Corpses" (2003) - Presented by Rob Graydon ...and then we start three weeks of "Gender Bending", where we examine how gender identity factors into horror films: what was progressive, what is now cringe-y, etc. Episode 7 - October 27: "Psycho" (1960) - Presented by Joe Sena Episode 8 - November 3: "Dressed To Kill" (2003) - Presented by Rob Graydon Episode 9 - October 10: "Sleepaway Camp" (2003) - Presented by Sonia Harcourt Don't forget to like, subscribe and whatever else you kids are supposed to do to keep coming back.
