Episode 5: Commission Vs Booth Renting - Pros & Cons Edition

from The Intentional Artistry Podcast · host Lara Stillwell

In today's episode we will discuss the pros and cons to both commission and booth renting as a stylist. Both can be great options for you! The main thing I want to do through this episode is to give you some knowledge about both so that you can make whatever the best decision is for you at the moment. I've done both, so I do believe that you can have both. It just depends on where you are and what you're wanting to build. Don't feel like you have to be pressured into a decision because of what other people say you should do. It really depends on what really and truly matters to you. What you value and what you want for your future. Questions to ask yourself... 1. What do you really want? (If you don't know what you want long term, that's okay and perfectly normal! You can figure it out along the way.) 2. What kind of money do you want to earn? 3. What kind of salon culture do you want? And what kind of stylist do you want to be? Lastly, everything that you do in your career is a stepping stone to where you are going. Sometimes we are in different jobs and experience different people so that we can learn what we want or don't want in the future. All lessons can be valuable as long as we can learn from them. I hope you enjoy this episode and if you have any questions, please DM me on my Instagram linked below. Please hit the follow button at the top to subscribe so you don't miss new episodes every week.Click here to connect with me https://www.instagram.com/larastillwell
