In 3 decades coaching football, David Walker began his career at Miami Carol City High School in 1994. In 1995, Walker returned to his alma mater, Syracuse, tutoring 6 running backs who would go on to play in the NFL. From 2004-2010, Walker coached at the University of Pittsburgh with Dave Wannstedt, producing 2 NFL running backs. In 2011 he began his NFL coaching career with the Indianapolis Colts, serving as the running backs coach through the 2015 season. Walker was then hired by the Detroit Lions in 2016, serving as the running backs coach until retiring from coaching at the end of the 2019 season to begin his new project, 3rdand3.com.
