Episode 5 - Don't Go Back to Normal

from Vlad Savchuk Podcast · host Vladimir Savchuk

DON’T GO BACK TO NORMAL
// Vladimir Savchuk We shouldn't go back to normal because God is always moving forward, and He wants to do a new thing. Limitation leads to innovation. The first name of God we meet in the Bible is CREATOR; His Spirit is the source of our creativity. This pandemic will either prune us or will purge us. We must move from Churchianity to Christianity!1. Churchianity is about who we are seating; Christianity is about who we are sending. 2. Churchianity is about encouraging; Christianity is about equipping. 3. Churchianity is about membership; Christianity is about ministering. 4. Churchianity is about services; Christianity is about serving. 5. Churchianity is about programs; Christianity is about the process. 6. Churchianity is about making events; Christianity is about making disciples. 7. Churchianity is about buildings of brick; Christianity is about building people. 8. Churchianity sees Sunday as a destination; Christianity sees Sunday as a gas station. 9. Churchianity counts decisions; Christianity counts disciples. 10. Churchianity is us going to the Church; Christianity is Church going to the world. 11. Churchianity is about building attendance; Christianity is about building an army. 12. Churchianity will go into decline; Christianity will go into digital discipleship. 13. Churchianity is into methods; Christianity is into the mission. How to Move Forward to the NEW:
1. Hear from God. (Hab.2:1)Cultivate awareness of God's presence.Build a reservoir of God's word.Remove the noise from your life. Learn to watch and wait on God. God whispers, not yell because He expects us to be close.
2. God's answer comes in the form of a vision. "Vision is a picture of the desired future." Andy Stanley"Visions and dreams are the languages of the Holy Spirit." David Yonggi ChoThe Holy Spirit is the source of visions. Visions produce faith. Faith brings focus. Most of us don't struggle with a lack of motivation but with a lack of inspiration. A person without a vision is a slave to their reality. Write the vision down, but make sure it's in the heart. Vision is given to an appointed person, but it has an appointed time. Vision comes to you slowly, but you must run to it swiftly.
3. Don't waste your waiting. The quality of your soul will determine the quality of your life. The process of waiting exposes sickness in the soul. God will change you before he changes your life.
4. You must be filled before you are fulfilled. (Hab. 3:17-19)You need to be filled with God's Spirit; don't wait to be fulfilled by fulfillment of God's promises. Happiness comes from what's happening to you. Joy comes from who lives in you. ________________________If you enjoyed this episode, don't forget to subscribe, rate, and share it on your social media. All my digital content is available for free to download: https://www.vladimirsavchuk.comWant to be mentored be?
