EPISODE 5: HIDDEN GEMS (JOEYTOOFRESH)

J𝐎𝐄𝐘𝐓𝐎𝐎𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐇 ⁣ starts us off into his beginnings as an emcee in 93',transitioning to a DJ,and photographer.He guides us into the history of the Amphibians crew, life in new york & around the world. We also discuss the impact his brother made on those around him, and how is influence motivated him & others to always think outside the box in creativity. Joey expresses the importance of evolving in your craft, and never being scared to find growth in your craft.⁣ ⁣ 𝐀𝐦𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐰⁣ ⁣ (Meaning- They referred to DC being a swamp, and using the metaphor in adapting to water and land through sound from various styles from the members in the group.)⁣ ⁣ A crew & family of Producers, Emcees, and DJ's that primarily were based in DC. Members originated from Duke Ellington, and Freestyle Union. They created freestyle tapes, sessions , and records.
