Julia is the founder of Oncology Rehab, established in 2009 which is dedicated to outpatient oncology rehabilitation. Oncology Rehab works in partnership with HCA and Sarah Cannon in Colorado and Texas, and provides innovative, evidence-based specialized care to patients with oncological diagnoses in all tumor programs and through all phases of treatment. The clinic has programs in breast cancer, head & neck cancer, thoracic cancers, pelvic and colorectal cancers, GI Cancers, sarcoma and melanoma cancers, blood cancers, and neurological cancers, as well as cancer exercise programs to address the sequelae of chemotoxicity, radiation therapy, and cancer related surgeries. In 2014 Julia founded PORi – The Physiological OncologyRehabilitation Institute – the education and teaching division of Oncology internationally.
