Episode 5 - Michael Robin - Bootstrap Marketing

DIY Marketing! In today's episode I talk with Michael Robin of Rocksauce Studios. Michael explains how anyone with an idea can market their product using social media. Even some of the most basic rules of marketing such as tell the story before the product launches. What I love the most about this interview is Michael's story about one of their clients who had a notebook app. I don't want to give away the secret (you should listen to the episode!) but what the creator of the app did was SUPER creative. Not everyone is a "marketing" person, but that can't stop you from getting your products out there in peoples faces. Using social media is such a great way to jump right into the world of marketing. Posting on the big named social sites such as Twitter, Facebook and YouTube allow you to potentially reach millions of people. You have to have your strategy right, and be ready to take risks.
