Episode 5: Moses -- A Foster Kid Success Story

Moses' biological father trained Moses and his twin brother to steal cars when they were seven years old. When law enforcement caught up, Moses and his twin brother entered the foster care system. Starting off in the homes of family members, the brothers endured physical beatings until law enforcement removed them from the home. Using drugs while in fifth grade, Moses tried almost everything but recognized cannabis as the one thing that could keep him calm, productively present and engaged with others. Throughout his life he could not escape the idea that there is more to this life than the material, there is a life after this life.
