Episode 5: Ringu (1998)
from Ghouls in the House
Natalie and Arnold brave the wrath of Sadako and Samara with the original RING (RINGU, 1998) and its American remake, THE RING (2002)! It's a look at the phenomenon that sparked a surge in J-horror...and maybe also put the final nail in the coffin for video tapes. Turn off your TV, take the phone off the hook (does anyone still have one with a "hook?"), and keep an eye out for soggy-haired vengeful spirits! And remember, when you're listening to this podcast, the only ghoul in the house...is YOU! Show Music: "Cemetery Dance" by The Vivisectors.
