Episode 5: Solid Snake Drive

This is Episode 5 of the Hamsteak Podcast! We read and talk about Homestuck, a webcomic by Andrew Hussie, which you can read for free at www.mspaintadventures.com. (This one’s a little late – thanks for your patience!) This week we read pages 2306 to 2410 – in which we first meet Lil’ Cal (yikes), find out where where John and his house went (kind of), and finally learn the point of the game… almost. Other stuff from the ep: End of Ze World, an ancient treasure from the pre-Youtube Dark Ages What if Bro and Dave were horrifying quasi-vaporwave memes? The MSPA Wiki, a great reference if you’re re-reading or really enjoy spoilers for some reason Next week: we read pages to 2411 to 2513 – where John learns alchemy, WV gets company, and we finally meet the lovely, mysteriously prescient young lady behind the the alias GG. First page is here: http://mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=002411 Ask us questions or tell us about your favorite garden pests via Tumblr or at [email protected] Follow the show on Twitter! You can follow Alex and Lydia, too, but ask yourself: are you truly prepared to peer into such an abyss? Intro music: “Showtime (Original Mix)” – Malcolm Brown Outro music: “Showtime (Piano Refrain)” – Malcolm Brown, arranged and performed by Kevin Regamey Both from Homestuck Vol 1-4, listen and purchase on Bandcamp! Thank you Andrew Hussie!
