It was one of the iconic movements of the American Civil War, Stonewall Jackson's flank march at Chancellorsville. Traversing country roads, streams, and 12 miles of the backwoods, Jackson's men arrived in the Union right flank on the afternoon of May 2, 1863. What followed dislodged the Union right flank and led to the wounding of Stonewall Jackson.
