In this episode, I talk with Maddy Turnbull, who lives in the Lake District and became part of the first all female British expedition team to attempt an unsupported North to South crossing of the Finnmark Plateau, the largest Ice Plain in Europe, in the Norwegian Arctic Circle in March 2020. We discuss her preparations for the trip, what life was like while crossing the plateau and returning to a world completely changed by the pandemic
