I 1987 avtalte musikerne Torstein Bieler og Lars Kilevold å spise lunch sammen på puben Harlekin i Hegdehaugsveien i Oslo. Dette ble starten på prosjektet «Ute til lunch», der låta med sammen navn over natta ble en landeplage, samtidig som den skulle vise seg å skape mye hodebry for daværende kringkastingssjef Bjartmar Gjerde. Torstein og Lars forteller om reisen fra å være to blakke musikere til plutselig å være på alles lepper. De forteller også den fascinerende historien om hvordan deres siste prosjekt - bandet «Sons of Angels» - til slutt ble lansert internasjonalt av Atlantic Records, solgte 200 000 album og ble spilt på MTVs Headbangers Ball.
