Carter and Mo are excited to have reached episode 50! In this episode they are talking about Bad Blood by John Carreyrou. It tells the story of Elizabeth Holmes and her startup Theranos. It reads like a crime thriller even though it’s a book about a medical startup in Silicon Valley. Elizabeth Holmes claimed to have created technology that could do blood tests with very small amounts of blood. It was later revealed that the technology did not do what she said it could.
