Episode 50 - Cobra Kai

Welcome back people, to yet another fantastic episode of the Talkin' TV podcast!!!! As you guys know, we have been covering a lot of TV on this channel. More than we ever thought we would. However, after my many times of bullying Chris into watching shows that I liked for the podcast, he finally got me back with oneof his. And I have to say, it surprised the hell out of me. Ladies and Gentlemen, the same week that theaters around here re-open, I give you, our 50th overall podcast episode, Cobra Kai!!!!!  Cobra Kai is a direct sequel to the Karate Kid trilogy released between 1984 & 1989. Following both Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso after their apparently fate-deciding match in 1984, as they both make decisions that impact themselves via the sport they both love so much, to the point where it affects those closest to them. It's a different yet unique feel. It's got a lot of nostalgia, but it make have accidentally stumbled onto something smart on the way there. It features some corny moments, but it has its themes and charm as well. It is Cobra Kai. Strike First, Strike Hard, No Mercy.  All of this and more on Talkin' TV!!!
