Episode 50: "Take Care of Your Mentals"

from M3: Movement, Mindset, and Medicine · host Breanna Danielle Beaver M.S., C.P.T, F.N.S.

Hey M3 Family! It’s your host, Mermaid Bre. In this solo episode, I explain the importance of “taking care of your mentals” A.K.A. prioritizing your mental well-being by taking mental health days to rest your mind and take care of yourself with cleared time and space. Taking mental health days is crucial because they allow individuals to prioritize their psychological well-being. These days off provide an opportunity to rest, reduce stress, and recharge, ultimately enhancing overall mental health. Mental health days can help prevent burnout, improve productivity, and promote work-life balance. They also reduce the stigma around mental health, emphasizing that mental well-being is as important as physical health. In the long run, taking these days contributes to a healthier, happier, and more resilient individual.I’m also announcing a few coaching updates as I will be extending my services online through lifestyle coaching, an ongoing strength training program that our entire Mermaid Method community can have access to, our first self-taught “Food Freedom” course, and “MerBabe Mentorship Cohort” for fitness trainers looking to expand their services to the online community (beginning January 2024). Stay tuned for more updates, coaching applications, and registration for our cohort opening in December!
