The American Underground music scene of the 1960's is featured in this episode. While most bands didn't achieve a wider commercial appeal, some bands left an imprint on their listeners and have gone on to influence successive generations of bands. Bands like The Velvet Underground are still very relevant to many of today's Post Modern Rock bands. This episode also contains a sample of newer bands that fit the show format.
