Episode 51- Bob Wilke- I Got Mind

I Want 2 Know more about and inspirational man, Bob Wilke. I got to hear Bob speak at a luncheon put on by the Airdrie  Chamber of Commerce. I was very impressed with what he had to say and how he presented himself. So much so, that I was relentless in my pursuit to have him on the podcast. Bob played hockey for most of his life. He ended up playing in the NHL for the Philadelphia Flyers and the Detroit Red Wings. He had some hard times in the NHL, but most of his hardships stemmed from being involved in a horrific bus crash when he was 17 years old. He saw some of his team mates die that day and that can damage a young man. It took Bob nearly 27 years to get himself straightened out.
