Episode 51: Fun, family-friendly events plus stunning artifacts and more!

from People and Places along the Heritage Trail · host Elkhart County, Indiana

August is continuing to be full of fun and adventures!  We know school is back in session and summer is winding down, but the fun events and great storefronts aren't!  In this episode, we talk to Annie from the Elkhart Environmental Center about EnviroFest!  Celebrating it's 25th anniversary this year, this fun family-friendly event is the largest in the region!  Annie tells us about the food vendors, booths, raffle & silent auction, live music, kids’ area and entertainment, beer & wine garden, and more! You won't want to miss this event happening on August 20th! Then we chat with Eric at Wellfield Botanic Gardens. Eric is no stranger to the podcast and he continues his streak of sharing great information!  This time he tells us all about Taste of the Gardens. Enjoy a gorgeous summer day at Wellfield while perusing fine art, listening to live music and enjoying a sampling of the area’s tastiest food and drinks. We here at the Elkhart County CVB are so incredibly proud to be the presenting sponsor of this great event. And we wrap up this episode with Keith from Found in Goshen.  Keith and his wife Ann have spent years collecting and selling some of the most beautiful international art and antiques from around the world and vintage objects from across the United States. You'll be amazed when you hear Keith's stories about traveling, finding these incredible pieces, opening the storefront and exactly how they determine what to have in the store.
