Episode 51: Marina Da Silva

Marina Da Silva   Drummer, percussionist, dancer, actor and radio host from Bondi, Sydney. Growing up in Bondi to 2 Brazilian parents, Marinas father was a Capoeira master and also a double bass player in the SSO so there was always music and movement. She studied Caporira and music with her father but eventually found herself deep in dance. Today, this combination of music and dance has her involved in projects like Junkyard Beats, Odoya,  A radio show called Flywaves, a regular at The Monday Jam, and a daily study in afro cuban and Brazilian music and culture.
