Episode 51 - The Sore Thumb

from Musings with Townsend and Preacher Man

From a young age, most of us probably spent some time trying to figure out how to be unique and not just someone "lost in the crowd." We changed our hair, chose a certain style of dress, and have a favorite music that we were committed to - and we never noticed, but we mostly just looked like everyone else around us. In seeking to stick out, our habits are normally discovered in blending in.But is that the way it's supposed to be for the Christian? Has there ever been, or will there ever be a time when God wants his people to just "blend in," or are we actually called to stick out "like a sore thumb?" Granted - it's sore cause it gets hit the most often... but is that reason enough to avoid our calling as the City on a Hill? Let's talk about it this week!Got a question you want answered or a topic you'd like to hear Townsend and Preacher Man muse on?
