from The Patty-G Show · host Patrick D. Gremillion

This week we are hitting the highway and traveling, right down the road. We brought on Karron Alford, the marketing director of Visit Baton Rouge. We chatted about all thing tourism, the great outdoors, and of course, Baton Rouge. The impact that tourism has on our city is incredible. With COVID taking place during some of the busiest times of the year has made a devastating impact to our local economy and across the state. Visit Baton Rouge has put into place several initiatives to get things kicked back off again, in a safe manner. Karon shared her journey thus far with starting in radio producing, heading to tv producing, and now working as the marketing director of Visit Baton Rouge. During these crazy times it can be challenging to find some sort of normal routine for us to dive into. With knowing everything our great city has to offer there can be a slight sense of relief knowing there's more than enough to keep us busy.
