Episode 52 - Mona the Vampire
from Cartoon Night in Canada Hosted by Chris Luciantonio
On this week's episode, Sylvie and Chris show you their fangs and get way too invested in the fragile delineations between fantasy and reality with Mona the Vampire. While debating some favourite tropes featured in shows we covered (the HorrorKid, precocious girl with overactive imagination, monster of the week story structure, etc.), we once again get into the joys of horror made for kids and our nostalgic memories of this ordinary girl in an extraordinary world. Plus, Joss Whedon is mentioned. There is your content warning for that guy. Episode covered is episode 23 "Time shift/Time Out." Written by Kristine Van Dusen and Jacques Bouchard respectively. Original airdate October 18, 2000. If you liked what you heard please consider giving us a like, share, follow, and rating to help us reach a wider audience.
