 Amanda Joy Christensen is a hospitality professional, storyteller, and creator of the Vegas-based podcast, Valley Views. With over twenty years of experience across nearly every facet of the hospitality industry, Amanda has become a voice for the unsung heroes who power the city behind the scenes.  Amanda has worked alongside legends and visionaries during the downtown Las Vegas renaissance. Her experiences taught her both the beauty and burnout of an industry that often demands everything and can give very little in return. The 2020 shutdown was a turning point that revealed how fragile the illusion of status can be—and clarified her mission to serve with a deeper purpose. In 2024, Amanda launched Valley Views, a podcast within the community honoring the voices of hospitality: creators,  caregivers, small business owners, and culture-shapers. It’s a legacy project born of hard-earned wisdom, emotional grit, and unwavering belief in serving people the honorable way.
