Jim began his early years as a full time teacher/coach at the high school level. With a natural ability for public speaking and interpersonal communication skills, Jim joined the financial services industry in the early 1980’s. After achieving a desirable level of success, Jim felt the need to do more for his community.    In the summer of 1993 Jim founded “SOFA” The Society for Financial Awareness. Between 1996 and 2006, The Society for Financial Awareness has expanded into a national presence. As financial literacy programs are yet to go main stream “SOFA” will continue to offer and improve its educational services to corporations, companies & city governments.    Jim enjoys riding his bike, reading and spending quality time with his family and friends. Jim’s electrifying personality and passion for coaching allows for Jim to partake in various speaking engagements across the country. Jim intentionally leaves his calendar flexible as he thrives under new and exciting businesses opportunities. Regarding Jim’s future, he will never retire.
