How do I do money? This week Accredited Investor Markets Radio interviews Jim Chilton, founder of SOFA USA, in Episode 52. His discussion with host Chris Cahill focuses on the many generations of financial illiteracy perpetuated by the lack of financial curriculum in public schools.  They cover many aspects of the problem from state funded debt to addressing the needs of the youth to student loan choices, home buying and the economy of the university. Jim began his early years as a full time teacher/coach at the high school level. With a natural ability for public speaking and interpersonal communication skills, Jim joined the financial services industry in the early 1980’s. After achieving a desirable level of success, Jim felt the need to do more for his community.    In the summer of 1993 Jim founded “SOFA” The Society for Financial Awareness. Between 1996 and 2006, The Society for Financial Awareness has expanded into a national presence.
