Episode 53: 3 Important Mindset Lessons from My Social Media Break

from Empowered in Health · host Erin Trier

On today's episode of The Momlife Mindset Podcast, I'm sharing about the 3 big lessons I've learned from taking a break from social media and really focusing on unplugging this holiday season. I've been doing this the past few years and every year, the lessons get bigger and the feelings go deeper. The truth is - social media and having the opportunity to connect in ways we never have is a gift. I know that I never would have met many of the people I know today without it. However, creating boundaries and understanding the mental and emotional ramifications to consuming online are HUGE for our overall health and well-being. We have to stay aware. Tune in to today's podcast to hear more of the 3 big lessons I've learned and how they've been eye opening, uncomfortable and tremendously powerful. It's been so good for my overall health and well-being, I'm still working on my forward plan with continuing to give and serve online. TBD on where I land and what that looks like. But if I've learned anything - it's the importance of truly LISTENING to what you need from the (inside) out and allowing yourself the time and space to figure it out in whatever way works for you. I'd love to hear from you and connect further on our stories.
