A token doesn't always have to be used in a decentralized model. Institutional users may choose to implement  permissioned blockchain among stakeholders.  Digital Assets has built the Daml standard. For the adoption of tokenisation by Enterprises such as the Deutsche Boerse, standards are important.   Tokenization efficiency gains, thus speeding up a process which would take 3-4 days, and now it's done in 9 minutes.
