Jason Marous was a 36-year-old construction estimator from Ohio who was shot and killed on January 6, 2023, while sitting in his parked vehicle outside his apartment complex in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Surveillance footage captured a heavily disguised individual walking in the immediate area at the exact time of the shooting. The person was wearing a beanie, long sleeves, pants, a full face mask, and distinctive reflective running shoes. Despite extensive efforts by the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, Jason's murder remains an unsolved cold case.
