Episode 54: "Folklore" & "Brother's Keeper" - Spawn #87 & Curse of the Spawn #26

Author Ethan Crone's obsession knows no end. He explores the depths of Rat City hoping to find out more about Spawn but is met with a flurry of vague and oftentimes contradicting recollections. Meanwhile, a specter of Spawn's past appears for the first time; Al Simmons has a brother! George and Pierce dig in to all of this and, undoubtedly, more.  This week's recommendations are to help someone that you have the means to help and also one of Charles Burns' latest, FINAL CUT, a surrealist tale about a group of friends heading out to a remote cabin in the woods with 8mm cameras to make an homage to one of their favorite sci-fi horror films, Invasion of the Bodysnatchers.  Thanks to Freesound (https://freesound.org/) for being a great resource for our intro atmosphere and sound effects. Thanks to Blake Whitlow for the always useful Spawn Reading Order. (https://tinyurl.com/47pvxj3a) Thank YOU for listening!
