It was a sweltering day at Williams Brice for the Gamecocks' opening game this past Saturday against Kent State, and the Gamecock offense may have been hotter than the weather. Clemson did not have as much fun in their opening game of the season as they traveled to Death Valley to take on LSU, and the team from the Upstate dropped their opener 51-10.
