At least one of those three words we like to hear, right? No one wants to have failure in their lives, and persistence denotes hard work. But success – everyone wants to have success in their lives. What we don’t realize though is that without the first two you are very unlikely to truly get to that third on the list. It takes time, it takes little successes, little failures, more successes (in other words, persistence) and eventually you will get to that big SUCCESS. If you think that with anything you're doing, you're gonna be good enough the first time, whether it's writing books, playing basketball, speaking, podcasting, if you think you're going to be good enough the first time, you should quit that and go try something else. The reality is, you're gonna stink, you're going to get knocked down and because of that, you're going to be so much better and stronger. Inspiration, motivation, and the knowledge that (according to Ringo Starr) “Got to pay your dues if you wanna sing the blues And you know it don't come easy” This is information that we all need to consider, think about and implement. Whether it’s in our personal or our business lives, we need to be able to take our time, pay our dues and eventually our worlds will get easier.
