TRANSCRIPT · AUTO-GENERATED

What up, party people? We skipped the whole interview process for the last episode where we teamed up with Revzilla, but we're making up for today. No more rallies slouching. Let's get into it.

Zane, what's the last album that you listened to prior to this interview? The last album was a group called Little Dragon. How old were you when you wrote your first rap? My very first rap.

I went 15. Saturday Night Live or Mad TV? SNL. What's the last movie that you watched?

7th Circuit of the Brain. It was a documentary about how to use the 7th Circuit of your brain and how to get to the different levels and dimensions. Pretty quick, interesting info. What's your favorite drama on television right now?

How? What's your favorite comedy on television right now? I just watch comedy central. I really don't.

I don't watch too much TV. Give us an example of a regular day in the life of Zane. Up in the morning at 6.30 on the bus, making the kids to school, back home, making bags, or handling whatever. Business and air that have to run, wait for the girls to come to kids from home, make dinner, and still be making bags all night.

That's what I do, make bags and notebooks. Word them off, hey. It's time for the news. And now, breaking news from the Rapzilla news team with your host, Matt Pelicek.

This is Matt Pelicek at the Sincast news desk with your hip hop headlines brought to you by Rapzilla.com. Nominations for the 2009 GMA Dove Awards are in. Cross Movements, Flame and LaCray are both nominated in the Rap Hip Hop recorded song category for the song Joyful Noise. JR picked up a nomination in the Urban recorded song category for not a slave from his latest album, Life by Stereo.

And lots of upcoming album releases, John Wells, The Tonic of Cross Movements Records releases his solo project, The Dash, on March 31st. PNG Productions from Mangiano will be releasing his sophomore record, Beautiful World, on April 7th. Emotion Plus is back in the studio. He will be finishing up his EP, Golden Rule, to be released in late spring.

And making his debut solo release, Two Edge will release while I'm still breathing on May 12th. For more of the latest hip hop news, reviews, and free downloads, visit Rapzilla.com. With the Sincast, I'm Matt Pelicek, and that's how I roll. Word'em up, right?

Word'em up, let's get into some ridiculous heat with Fourth Avenue Jones. Oh, yes. The syntax rack is especially prepared with the electrical treasures broadcast on a giant synodron. Admission is free.

Free. Free. Free. Free.

Free. Free. Free. Free.

Free. Free. Free. Free.

Free. Turn to clay, right in the thorns, burn to the way It's gradually, I learn to stay up on the narrow path Straight as an arrow shab, the pill of a cowboy, and the army's a feral app In my hands, and I can't explain it for the red sea and parcel of my dry land Strike kings and underlings of light, cause they cover under lightning It's a thundering, strike name, no wonder it Who's leaning this mess of it all, y'all may want hide or meet the meaning of this mess of it all now Witness the primadocia, as it stands up hot, as if they got a focus kid in my mind Trim, I took it with the light, can't play the game anymore We've all been given the same way for it, but it's not what you're given is what you do The fact that you're living is what the truth is It's not the care we've been like this, and we can't dodge all this loneliness It's the tale about free battle, met the size of the room This is Daniel, and you're listening to the same cast I'm back with the original female member of the Tunnel Rack Room Zane, why is it 2009, and your first solo album is just finally releasing? Uh, it's got tiny So now that LA woman is finally releasing, what plans do you have for the future? I'm actually looking forward to doing a bunch of stuff This one's fantastic, but the next one is gonna be great What are your five favorite years in the history of hip hop?

Preferably in five in a row, but if you wanna say 88, 91, that's fine too, it's like a concrete brick of good I'd say early 90s, probably, yeah, 90 to 95 Zane, going back to your childhood, growing up in hip hop, can you give me one album that just really fired you up? Reminded you why you fell in love with hip hop, or maybe that's the album that caused you to fall in love with the BMC aspect of hip hop? The whole freestyle fellowship in the city creates every single song What's your favorite song off this brand new record? I was right now, it's tell me, I love that song Before it used to be funny Who did you record this record for?

Do you have anyone specific in mind, or is it just for my mom as well as my daughter? Hopefully everyone can feel it, and have been in the same situations Single moms, females, schoolers, dreamers, or in La La Land But it dedicated, it would definitely be my grandmother's sister's daughter That's the way a year ago Zane, give me two artists, one that had the biggest impact on you indirectly and then the one that had the biggest impact on you directly You know what Apple, for sure, you know what Apple, 80 bits are like the ultimate group to me But there is no like, I really don't listen to hip hop, so usually I just listen to like both of you, you know, all of you do stuff If you had to give someone the recipe for Zane, what would be the ingredients? Oh man, so many questions, a recipe for Zane? Man, I'm thinking, me, and I'm thinking fruit, it would have to be our skills, figures, patsy, stop at the old, and coffee, yeah Can you please do the honors and introduce this next Boombanger?

Absolutely, please enjoy the song at the beginning again, but one and only, they won Superfood game games and my hustle, just to beat the seed take every week to week, they're so weak, they're so weak, they're so weak, they're not sick, they're not sick, they're not sick, otherwise they got a lot of Ripple Pissed out of the game, they have a score of sweat, they pick it up, I'm on the grid and slave it To the vendor situation, grandmother slitched off rope, I slid off of a silver, they all got it, they all got it, they're cold and heavy, all gave it a heart outside, took his line as a kill out grind It's here to none, then it'll come to our hair all day, she's where we're now, T's the same, they'll take a piece of ink out, because that's how I was ready All this is there, just to go over to the top, go back and down and let's be ready, bro And y'all are tuned into the synchas. Peace. So I'm back again, and I've still got Zane with me. But my next interview happened to Colin right now, so I'm actually gonna double check Zane.

Is it cool if we bring him in on the interview? And um, we can wind your interview down and in that process we can segue into the beginning of his interview. Is that cool? That's wonderful.

Alright, the heat that I'm talking about here is UFC fighter Houston Alexander, starting with Zane. Tupac or Biggie Smalls? Biggie. Houston.

Tupac. Cool. KRS1 or Rockham against starting with Zane? KRS.

Oh man. Okay, okay. Cool G-RAP or Big Daddy Kane? Big Daddy Kane.

MC Search. Or Pete Nice. Uh, Pike Search. MC Light or Lauren Hill?

If you like. She's the reason why it's already rapping. Let me think about that one. Who is your all-time favorite MC?

I'm gonna have to speak during the big. Or producer. Or producer. Either or.

That you don't think gets the credit that they deserve. Just gonna go dirt. Zane. Thanks for joining us.

I really appreciate you spending the time. We wish you a big success on this record and Houston. Thanks for joining us. Thank you everyone.

Go count the albums. I love you. Go back. I'm gonna play a couple of Hugh Wiesel's.

Then we'll get into it. I got a day to get a job and a lifestyle makeover. They go buckle down and stay sober. There's no living now.

I got to find his body. Listen, Cash. I talk to them chillas that he while it. Chillin on the corner.

Fucking with a vessel. Pumping on the zone up. I was ready to share these. You a city plus shop.

That's another club shot. Rubbing nail. Show no love. Proving the hell bound.

Every time I'm gun hot. Walk in the spirit and you can see the smoke rise. Pray in my lyrics. I open up your clothes now.

I tell that boy. Look out here. I'm on your side. Used to be you man.

Used to be so hot. Used to be local. I'm still a little girl. Spirits and soldiers.

Throw devils in your clothes. Ain't on my shoulder. Cross that angel. You listen to my words.

Man that bossa changed you. And we show you what they do. Man I'm still a rider. I know angels watch you.

They got it this size. Man I should have been dead. Man I should have been dead. Put the balls on his head man.

But he ain't dead. He ain't ladies like that. But my daddy raised up. That's how we got like now.

We some gladiator. Spinging guts and glory. Man you know the story. Ain't still a war fit.

If you got it for for me. If they could man they cry. Me sauce me. Throw me on the stick.

Burn me alive for days. My heart be stopped. Rubbing my lungs. Should have collapsed.

Well I am alive for days. A lot she couldn't find my way. Now that I'm feeling a real life. I'm praying.

Should have been gone. Man I know it was gone. More talkin' to your soul. Man this ain't a facade.

Houston, fill us in on what a regular day is like for you. We're gonna have a five in the morning going on a train. And then I'll have the 14th session. I take the school.

My middle school kid. And my high school kid. I'll take the school first. And then I'll come back.

And actually I'll do my other spot. I'll give up the school. And then I'll go on radio station. Oh did you get your start in mixed martial arts?

And what led to you being discovered by the UFC? I got into a mixed martial arts. I'm a dare. An advantage for the mind.

I was going to on a good basis. And you find that for it. And so you know that you dare me to get in the ring. So I'm the ring.

And I got some opportunity to make it. I have to come over to a lot of guys at the UFC. And I, you know they have to dance with the athletes. It's all the fighting guys.

I think the other guy was 260, 260 times. So my guy has to, how come you're doing a smaller show? You should be doing a bigger show. It's already about a month later than you have to be.

Which would be interesting. I was in the UFC. I was in the UFC. I was in the UFC.

I was in the UFC. I was in the UFC. I was in the UFC. I was in the NFL.

I didn't know his name. But I was in the UFC. I was in the UFC. I was in the UFC.

I was in the UFC. I was in the UFC. I was in the UFC. Tell us about your background in hip hop.

I should have been teaching all of my b-werk rassers. I was 95. I've been DJing for seven or eight years. I've been doing rassers in those 12.

I'm 10 from 10 on up. I'm doing a little bit of everything man. Oh, I never got caught. I never got caught.

We're not going to worry. It's a deal on the beat between Omaha and Council Bluffs. I was in the UFC. I was in the UFC.

I was in the NBA. Somebody was probably just lying to me to try to make me look dumb. They've accomplished their goal. But I'm never going to trust them again.

You hear that, mom? If you see me in the streets, holla at me. Hold me out of the chains. Hold me out of the chains.

Hold me out of the chains, holla at me. No one niggles them down, so holla at me. I'm still from the drain. So, hold me, just holla at me.

We're teaming in the streets, holla at me. Hold me out of the streets, holla at me. Hold me out of the streets, holla at me. Hold me out of the streets, holla at me.

So, holla at me. So, holla at me. The drain is where I come from. Hold me just holla at me.

I'm really getting sick of y'all do, just being angry. Jealousy and envy, homie it's all the same thing. Pissed stupid, james, cuz I got a brother game. See where the callers of the mic.
