Why Listen? In my journal practice, I write down what I call “heart taps”, which are the things that speak directly to my heart. Here are a few of the heart tap moments that I wrote down from this interview:20 minutes isn’t that long. There are no rules about what you are doing out there, you just need to take the time to go outside.Being outside helps you to better manage the unpredictable life inside. Push through the barriers of discomfort to find the good on the other side. Use your tools to get through the discomfort: jacket, rain gear, time management, etc. It’s in pushing past the perceived and many times temporary discomfort that you grow. You get over the mental discomfort by doing it over and over again. Going outside actually increases your curiosity. Reminder: Growth happens over time. ABOUT THE GUEST: Amy Bushatz is the host and producer of the Humans Outside podcast.
