Episode 56: 1 John #18 - The New Old Command - Love 2:7-11

We find here the command which directs our lives. It's been with us since the beginning of our walk with God. And then we see the evidence of not living this way - living in the darkness; and evidence of living this way - living in the light. How do we live this way when we are a parodox of inconsistencies? We are kind and yet unkind. We are patient yet impatient. It is a matter of where we focus our lives. When we focus our lives in our efforts to live well we find ourselves in darkenss. When we focus our lives on Christ and his love we walk in the light.
