Episode 56- Angels

What’s the difference between a mailman and an angel? Pretty much nothing, as long as your mailman is covered in thousands of eyes. This week, we take a look at angels from a folkloric perspective (rather than religious), and bust some misconceptions about the mythology surrounding them (more like MYTHconceptions, am I right?) Join us as we discuss the prevalence of angels across the world and throughout history, and run the subject matter gambit from faith and belief to Travolta films and Bath and Body Works. Note, after the fact: The phrase "shamanistic lore" appears in this episode, which we have been informed is a problematic term. We apologize for its use in this episode and will avoid it in the future. Big thank you to the listener who brought this to our attention, we want to make sure this podcast is a fun and safe time for all listening. Thank you, and stay safe out there.
