I mean I can come over. Yeah, I just don't want you here. Wow Hey, welcome back to talking on since I'm your host Kyle. I'm here with Christopher.

Yeah I was just joking to what my kids hurt so I'm sorry, you know what it's okay to express that though, you know, yeah, no It's okay to express your feelings Chris you can express them if you want Do you ever like do you ever get annoyed when someone tells you to do something but they won't do them? They won't do it themselves. You ever have that double standard? Yes all the time.

Yeah, no, no, no, I mean I said I'm feeling it right now So wait, so you're saying that if I Sorry wait What was my what what was your what was your question or what was your statement? Sorry? No, I was just saying like do you ever like Do you ever like hate it when someone like tells you to do something but they won't do it themselves or whatever? Okay, yeah, yeah, and you consider that Oh, yeah, that is a double standard, you know, okay fair enough fair enough.

Yeah, um, I mean Yes, and no, I guess because sometimes I know it's like if or I'm sorry I'm still thinking if I'm the person that's asking this person to do something but they don't do it But yes all the time You know like sometimes I have people tell me like oh you need to See I don't listen No, no, I guess like I Don't know if I can think of a specific one, but I'm building off of that I think it's sometimes shitty when it comes to like or not shitties sometimes unfair when it comes to sort of Expressing yourself or being vulnerable to the sense that like for example if a girl were to like You know express her emotions No, okay, I disagree with that. I don't think that's I don't think that's a thing anymore. I don't I really think that I Discrete that a little bit well not a little bit. I disagree with it.

You don't think that's still a double standard No, I think guys can express themselves now, you know, it makes you say that because I do it That's well, yeah, that's true. That's actually a very good point. No, um, no, I don't I feel like Okay, okay backtracking. Do you feel like when we're growing up expressing yourself like that was a bad thing?

I don't think it was ever a bad thing. I think remember being a little I guess I remember it like being like I remember thinking like oh I shouldn't but I don't think I don't Remember why or how that or whatever happened caused me to think that way Well, I think for me for sure like showing emotions like being sad or crying was more of a personal choice I think that I just didn't want I think yeah, I think it was a Like social status kind of thing, you know or just social standards where you don't typically see guys cry It's always the girl. So it's like you can't you shouldn't show that emotion because if you do then you're not gonna look manly Yeah, no, that's that's for sure don't stand because it's like why not men can cry. Why can't I cry?

It's like yeah, because you're not a man, but I am I have a man and then cry yeah, you know, it's a double standard I really like fucking hate Like in Disney movies. It's like the princess is all like oh Fucking like whoa is me like blah blah blah blah blah right and like they like they overcome Some circumstance and they're all like empowered for it, which is cool. They're going wrong. It's cool, right?

But all the like Disney princes all look the same you have to be like chiseled like handsome or rich Yeah, yeah, like there's no like where's the like is the hunchback of Notre Dame is that Disney? Yeah? Oh, yeah, like he's only like ugly one You know that's true. Yeah, I was actually just talking to Rebecca about this like back then when I was single You know and I was looking for a relationship.

It would not you know me being me kind of the heavy side if you know I'm a little big right. I'm not skinny. That's what I don't have chiseled chin like these princes do and yeah Yeah, like the eight packs for the yeah, yeah, it's more of a six-world, but You know I was telling Rebecca like it's not fair for like in my eyes like that one guy's like well I want me a thick girl, you know like I want me a thick girl that like got some Meet to her or whatever, you know that could grab you know you would always hear that from guys But you never hear girls like I want me a thick boy. Yeah, you know, they always want like that fit skinny dude But it's like come on.

Is that twig really gonna protect you? Yeah, I was gonna protect you either but like at least I had some meat to me. Yeah, like you would have been blown away by a gust of wind You know that's actually like that. I hated that growing up, you know, yeah that double standard of or like even the fucking hyping It's like yeah, the high things.

Yeah, I fucking like oh only date guys. That's like six foot like well Okay, only date girls. That's like not really hard. Yeah, you know Like I'm sorry that I'm only five five.

Yeah, that's average by the way, okay, you know like I guess I would be I'm not bothered by double standards where those standards can change, right? But they have they have changed. Yeah, I think though that that is rough because it's like you can't change your height like At least in terms of like something you can do I mean, I guess yeah, you can have surgery but like who really wants to be that guy or that person? It's like oh, yeah, I got started to make myself taller make myself look more like attractive, right?

I don't know if that's a thing people do but you know, yeah I mean like I know that some people either by like platform shoes or not like necessarily full-on Platform shoes where you can tell like there's you know, there's little cheat sheets that you can do Yeah, I used to talk Martins that made me taller Yeah, like a little bit interesting. I'll actually do remember that you did. I remember having some little army boots. Yeah, and I had to look at And a plaid shirt kind of like a fucking tool Yeah, but like yeah standards can change though, right?

I mean, yeah, there's definitely I'm seeing it now like a lot more Hefty guys with you know, not your typical like who we like to have that big guy get that hot girl It's like well, it's yeah fucking awesome. Yeah, he's a fat dick. All right, anyways Yeah, so there's stuff like that and then Let's like another double standard. That's what's a double standard that you think is still around today for sure that you knew back then and it's still around today um man without getting too deep like I'm gonna say like being like being rich or like the white people like rich people are treated versus like poor people Like if you're rich and you do something wrong, it's like, oh, it's okay guy like you made a mistake or whatever, right?

But if you're poor and you do the same thing, it's like oh, what's wrong with you like whoa, whoa, whoa, you know right, yeah, yeah like Can't think of any like a specific example. Well, like yeah anything I think anything you do if you're rich you can get away with no matter what you do wrong. You could get away with it Oh for sure, yeah, well, okay, maybe I think I'm misidentifying rich with like being famous if you're famous. Yeah, you can get away with whatever Whereas if you're just like a random like person like you are I you know Like you couldn't get away with whatever you can't get away with certain things I don't think that's ever gonna change like ever I know huh.

Yeah, I think you're right. I'm gonna change. I feel like things who do get away with too much shit. Hey, there's one uh person that Had a scandal right and it was a pretty big scandal was like rape allegations not this particular person but somebody that they hung out with Like a celebrity?

Yeah They had their friend who they hung out with and was like in a lot of their stuff with them Had rape allegations against somebody and this the celebrity was primarily getting most of the keyboard because a lot of it was Documented so the celebrity does logs right and like the rape wasn't actually documented, but like they were just saying like a lot of it was um What no I just started laughing but It was a terrible time to laugh. Oh, you're like rewatching porn cop No, uh, but yeah, that's terrible joke. Sorry Yes, anyways, he makes logs and he's getting a lot of the heat of it because there's a celebrity was huh Yeah, it's like because you know they were saying like oh you didn't do anything to stop it and then you're putting them in your videos just to You know get clout what these young kids are saying nowadays or whatever and all this stuff And then like it was huge like huge like a lot of brands that you had were dropping him Um, he was getting a lot of heat and this was like Who is this just some youtuber But he was hanging like a lot of heat right and a lot of brands are dropping him all that stuff And he wasn't making vlogs because it was a pandemic for a while So he was kind of like out of the picture but like all this shit started coming up and then like there's other stuff too And it pretty much seemed like all this dude's done like he's done for sure, right? But then he just recently released the vlog like he started being vlogs again And apparently like though he did lose a lot of brand deals and whatnot He still has like a big ass fan base, which is just like ridiculous and it's like dude how yeah Like the fact that he could just go back like he made an apology video and blah blah blah blah blah or whatever right of course he did Yeah, but still he still making videos and just going about his life like nothing ever happened.

It's like wow Yeah I will say like like like like the Paul brothers or whatever Yeah, like the fact that they're still like famous after every little thing that they've done after like how horrible they've been It's like really like you like they're still gonna be famous Like But someone uh-huh like act like actors get canceled right Left and right, you know, where like comedians get canceled left and right for things they've done like ages ago granted They should have done those things and like granted. Yeah, they should take responsibility, right? But it's like how you gonna cancel them, but then you're gonna keep like Logan Paul or like all these other like like You know horrible people right? Yeah, like that's a double standard in and of itself Like if I was a celebrity and like I got canceled but like oh like Logan Paul still famous and like the fuck like what I did compared to that I wasn't even that bad, you know Yeah, that's true.

Now do you think Um, you know because Logan Paul he's not like I mean he's a celebrity but he's a youtuber, right? You know, there's there's a lot of um stuff that comes with you know, saying like oh, I'm a youtuber like when you think youtuber compared to Like movie actor like they're two different things right? Like automatically thinking your mind actors higher than a youtuber Yeah, Logan Paul makes so much money like probably just as much money as an actor does But we still think he's less than an actor, right? At least I do Yeah, well actually when you phrase it like that.

I actually don't know that's a good question, right? Isn't that also Kind of double standard right there too. Oh, yeah, definitely for sure. You know I feel like that's kind of depressing too if you were like a famous actor, but you found out like Logan Paul made more money This you'd be like well fuck like what am I doing wrong here?

You know, yeah, that's a whole not a topic to like the whole youtube world and how much money youtubers make compared to like other stuff It's so ridiculous and take all that is a double standard though. Like if you think about it like You know like youtube world versus like Hollywood versus like yeah, or like versus like tittaker like other social platforms You know like yeah, that's true. Like I've heard a lot of people say that Um Again, it's like a tear thing like it goes tick tox like the bottom tier then there's youtube then there's like real Hollywood shit Yeah, and people are always like hating all the tick toggers because all they do is either lip sync to something that's not theirs Right, they're content at all or do a stupid little dance to again another piece of content That's not theirs at all Hate millions of dollars and youtube would be like you have no talent You know, but dude, they're still cashing in that money. So technically I don't know like do they have talent?

Are they good? I mean? I don't know. Yeah, because like I feel like a lot of like tick toggers Like I feel like a lot of famous ones.

I think I think about that the tank is like if you look at like What's what's your name? The charlie somebody or yeah? Yeah, like don't they like aren't they singers now or whatever or don't they hang out with like the cardiashians or some shit And then like they made their own it's like if they get famous They just do other famous like people shit and then they just stay famous. So I don't think it's like is Regardless of I guess regardless of if they have talent or not.

I think they just caught it's like monkey seem like you do You know and I feel like I'd be the same way like if I ever got like TikTok name as your youtube famous Yeah, I would probably just start doing the same stuff other famous youtubers have done Mine is like all the like horrible stuff, you know Yeah, I mean for sure like you know like once once my youtube channel launches and becomes super fun to famous And whatnot, you know, of course, I'm gonna branch out and like maybe get into the clothing business or whatever. Yeah So having my own clothing brand maybe Yeah, maybe have like a high-pouse maybe collab with some youtubers, you know, like listen They're they're all playing the game. Right. Yeah, that's it's a hustle and they're doing it And I'm not saying like You know what they're doing is no talent.

I mean someone will really kind of don't have talent But you know they're playing the game and I think I'm just more mad at the fact that there's 18 year olds and 20 year olds Making more fucking money than I am and it's like I got an education and like the most they've probably got it as a high school diploma I'm not trying to knock anybody that just has a high school diploma So when you look at millennials It's like what the fuck? No, that's a huge double standard in my opinion to like the fact that like you and I both went to college, right? We spent years like in school, right? and then like Now someone makes a 10 second video and it's like hilarious all of a sudden like they're like Oh, yeah, there's like oh, what's your like they're immediately put up on a pedestal It's like, you know, they you know, they To be fair, that's kind of just luck in my opinion.

It's a lot of luck You know, I'm sure you could do things to increase your luck or to increase the chances of a video going viral I'm sure that's the thing but Like at the end of the day though, it's like people happen to like your stuff. You know, yeah That's true. And then also I was thinking too Actually, just this earlier like Racism could kind of be a double standard as well, you know, like you always hear And I'm not trying to like justify racism or whatever here, but it's always like White people are racist towards every other race, right? But then you never hear people say like hey, don't say that.

That's racist against white people You know, yeah, you know, I mean, it's like why I mean Let's deconstruct that a little bit. I mean, do you think you could be racist the white people? I know that's why that's why I'll try to think I'm like, can you? You definitely can for sure like there's a lot of stuff that they do get me fun of for actually You know, like not seasoning their food Not disciplining their kids.

Yeah, you know, so there's stuff like that for sure getting better jobs What is it getting better jobs? Yeah, just being privileged as fuck. Yeah, see, okay I don't think privilege is I don't think that's a double standard though I think that's that I think that's people being unaware of their situation Wait, like I guess when it comes to the whole workmate, right in like a Like like a white guy gets hired versus someone who isn't white doesn't right If the person who doesn't get hired has better qualifications to me in my mind that just shows that the business is unaware of Like their environment, right? Like they just show someone that you know, like, okay Like they're like familiar or something or I don't know if I'm I don't know if I'm saying this right or it's like I don't think you are either You know, like yeah, so if a person who's more qualified doesn't get hired because of their skin color Like yeah, that's probably right.

Yeah, obviously that's racism But the white person who does get hired that shows me that the business doesn't really understand what they're doing Is it like you obviously you'd want to go for someone who's more qualified, but the event that they don't it's just like So are you like, okay, I'm trying to dumb this down No, I'm getting wasted right here. No, okay. Well, this is what I'm hearing So you're saying that the white guy that gets hired You're saying that because he's white that's not necessarily his fault that he got hired at the business That's like I'm only gonna hire white people than any other race. Yeah, and like the fact that it's like oh, he's privileged The fact that like he's privileged or whatever because of like his like skin tone Also shows that he's unaware of the reality of his situation.

He's coming into a job that he doesn't know, you know, right? So it's like yeah, I kind of get what you're saying. You know, I mean, that's like a lose lose But like you you were if we go somewhere obviously like with the respective fields that we've studied it You know If we don't get hired whatever that that's like racism, maybe or whatever else, right? But at least if we do get hired, we know what we're getting ourselves into though.

Like we're not ignorant of our situation Yeah, true, but you know like Do you because you're a homeowner now Like I read this thing that like, you know, like your skin kind of your skin tone does affect what kind of like What is offered to you in terms of like loans and like credit score? Like do you like is that like a thing? Like do you feel like if you were white you would have gotten a better loan or or like better financial? I don't know stuff if I'm being completely honest if I was white, I think I already would have had better everything before the loan To get me the better.

Well Let's put it like that. No, I'm serious because I mean granted I you know, I am for the most part in control of my own situation and like I could have Done more internships had better or more awkward created more opportunities for myself to have a better paying job Whatever or whatnot, right? But like I don't think What am I trying to say here? I have no idea You're not able to say Basically what I'm trying to say is no I don't think that just because I was if I was white and I applied for a loan that I would have gotten a better loan Um Like just going off of like let's say I lived my life the way that I'm living it right now Like I have the job that I have now and I'm white Like I'm making the same amount of money that I am making now and I'm white and I have the same credit score all that stuff But I'm why I don't think because I'm white I'm gonna get a better loan It's literally based off your like how much you make in your credit score So that's why I said If I was white from the get go and had those opportunities because of my the color of my skin You know like going back to this company's hiring me because I'm only why they didn't hire the other person So they gave me the opportunity rather than that person so now I'm making more money And yeah for sure I probably got a better loan Yeah, but there's there's so many programs out there that help you regardless, you know of your skin color or even your social status I guess right yeah social yeah social status.

Yeah, that's right. Yeah, so like people just gotta honestly like I'm almost I'm a hypocrite, you know Like I will say sometimes like white people got easy But a lot like whatever right but at the same time though too is like there really is so many things out there that help You could say people of color or just help you in a in general Like help people in financial situations in general like you really just got your research And honestly, I want to know this is because I you know thankfully my fiance You know she she knows this stuff because she had to go through it herself And I'm not trying to put her on blast or anything I'm not saying that her family needed any help or whatever their hard workers and they do make good money But it's like because they knew how to play the game and we noticed this stuff like okay Just put it like this my mom right she came to the United States Like in the early 70s. All right, yeah She came with pretty much nothing and granted that then it was a little bit easier for them to whatnot But she knew how to play the game she knew that there was things out there in this government that helped people of lower class or that didn't have Right so she played the game. She literally this I don't think this will affect her.

Hopefully not Basically, I know Sorry mom, but this is all purely coincidental. Yeah, so she got my dad's mom healthcare Because you know back then they would give out healthcare to people in need for certain situations and other situations I guess just happened to be like she told them like oh I need to get my mother in law Like you know money for healthcare and ball and all this stuff because her husband her son my husband left me and left me with his mom How am I supposed to care for it? Right and she played the part she made my grandma my dad's mom right dressed in my raggedy ass clothes My mom came in with no brain on her finger. Okay.

She came in with fucking chanellas on her feet Which are slippers for those of you that don't know what that is right? You know lagging and stuff and got the in thought all that shit. They were like the government was like okay approved Yeah, you know what I mean? So she was like cool.

She comes home sees my dad and goes I got your mom food stamps and free medical. He's like how'd you do that as she goes if they ask you You don't exist and you left me Oh, yeah, oh, okay. Yeah, no speaking about that like that's That's like a double standard that like I think No, I want to say every like person of color or anyone in general like experiences But like my mom's done the same thing too like literally Um when my dad came or whatever Or even when when I first moved back to the field or moved back from the Philippines back to here And we're trying to get everything set up about like free healthcare and stuff right like on their ass Do you have any like assets outside of the United States? Like for those of you who don't know like My my family does have like a house like in the Philippines or whatever right And like obviously we're supposed to tell them that but like we don't or my parents did it and we got like free else caring stuff or whatever Yeah, and it's like If you were really to take a look we have a house we have a car there It's like we got the whole nine right when it's like that it's again It's one of those like double standards like everyone else is doing it.

So might as well join in you know Yeah, yeah Wait, how's that? I don't stand? I actually don't know. I just wanted to join in until that story like you're like Oh, okay Do you let me have like double standards though.

Do you like Has there been a moment has there been a moment in your life where you're like It would have been different like it turned out this way because of the double standard like How like guys can't cry or whatever but like our girls can express their emotions. How like that's a thing Like has there ever been a moment in your life where you're like damn if I was a girl where if I was like something else This wouldn't have happened maybe or like this happened to me because of a double standard um Yeah, just a few things that like we're I guess not Let's see. What are the double standards we've talked about so far? Heights like handsome height.

Oh, yeah, hi poor rich white non-white Yeah, I don't know. I can't think of a specific note. You got one. No, see, I'm that's a thing I've always heard about double standards, but I don't think there's any like I don't know if it's because of the way I think though like I remember I was having a conversation once where it was specifically about like you know about like getting a job and I was talking to a friend of mine who was white and she said like like we end up talking about race and I was like yeah At the time I said I don't think like white privilege is a thing or whatever And like kind of talking about it.

I was like like my whole thing was like if I didn't get the job What comes to mind was like I'd rather think that I didn't get the job because I wasn't qualified or because I didn't have enough experience or because Like I didn't have enough knowledge or something because that stuff that I can change But if I didn't get the job because I was like not white like you can't change that you know So like I don't think in that sense It was a double standard that effect or backtracking like I don't know like I can't pinpoint in time in my life where Like a double standard happened. I guess that made me feel That I guess I just never thought about stuff that way, you know, right? Yeah, oh, you know what? You know what's a fucking double standard that yeah experienced for sure.

I think I don't know I think when it comes to dating it's like The guy's got to be the one that always initiates the conversation or has someone to talk about or like needs to move the conversation along Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah But it's like we gotta do it I don't know if it's a double standard. I feel like it is because I always feel like you know, especially like when you see when you're going through You know dating apps and the profiles the girls in the profiles always like don't hit me with a hey be creative It's like why do I feel like I feel like I've seen that fucking statement in every single profile like you need to change it up But like you be creative.

You know, I mean like stop with your salutations Like what's a click, you know? So like when I was in the dating world and I was talking to somebody I Saw that in the profile. They said don't hit me with the normal. Hey, like be creative, right?

So I was like, I'll be creative so I was like creative I hit them with like not a long ass message But something definitely better than just hey and she's like yo, yeah, and they fucking reply with hi Like the fludge like that's it. Yeah, that's a double standard bitch. I did all this work and that's all you're gonna fucking say Okay, speaking about that. I'm pretty sure I've said this before to you I fucking hate that when they don't throw you a bone for the conversation Like you like you go through all that effort and you're right like they just hit you with like a higher Oh, I don't know or like all while you're so funny.

Yeah, like thanks Why would I say to that? Thank you. Do you want to contribute? Yeah?

Yeah, so that for sure and then um What else? Do you have siblings? Do you feel like there were like siblings have double standards like Like maybe you're like your older brother to do something but your mom told you you couldn't like has I ever that's like a double standard Right. Have you ever experienced anything like that?

I don't know if I really consider that a double standard. I think that's just parenting You think so? No, I don't know. I mean there wasn't there really wasn't anything that like a parents were like Oh, no, you can't do that like they would tell my brother like include your younger brother You know, so I don't think I know I mean there was always the uh it wasn't What should we call it?

It wasn't what's the term? Way in the stated or whatever that oh because You know, my brother was older than me he could do things that I couldn't do or like there's always that one where it's like I'm the older brother, so I'm the one that tells you what to do like it wasn't ever just stated in that fact But I because of how I was raised and parented I was like a little older. Yeah, you know, he was older. So whatever he said kind of went like okay.

Yeah, I listen to you You're older, but I think now now that we are older and I'm more not mature, but I'm more aware like it's funny I always tell a Rebecca this but I'm just like, you know what it's funny back then my brother used to always tell me what to do But now it's like I'm telling him what to do Yeah, it's true like whenever we have them in parties or whatever and you know like we're we need to Get something or not throughout the trash or never. I'm always telling him, right? Hey, don't let me even that's walked out. He's like, okay No, I feel it.

Yeah, we're about We're not about sorry like what you started this conversation with like don't you hate it when somebody tells you what to do But then they don't do it themselves. Um, what made you think of that specifically did something happen recently or like what? Yeah, yeah, so What happened? Give me give me the tea Chris.

I'm here for you, bro You know let your emotions flow. You can't let anybody tell you that you can't say what's on your mind because in that would be a double standard No, okay, so it was a work thing Just to make the story simple like oh man. I'm already getting lost in the details here trying to make like start from the very beginning Well, I was born in 19 I'm standing here for scoring 20 years ago. No, um, so basically where I work What's for for me?

Sorry. So a score is 20 years. So four score is 80 years ago For four 20 years ago. I think I think that's I think that I'm probably wrong But yeah, no, so at where we like we deal with like tickets, right?

Like I do like I help this kind of thing And like part of like that is obviously like you have like standard like procedures for doing stuff, right? And it's like You know when you start somewhere new you just kind of copy what everyone else does sure and you just You know like sometimes what other people do is necessarily like right, but like you do it anyway because everyone else is doing it Card ever yeah, so basically that's what happened. I was working on ticket I kind of like I didn't like follow the Like the quote-unquote correct way to do it. I was doing it.

I was taught. Yeah, like the way I saw it And like I didn't get like in trouble, but like I definitely got like talked to And then I was like, oh, well, you know, like that's how they're like that's how I was like, oh, yeah Well, no, you're supposed to do it this way and I guess maybe the way it was said was just like well fucking like How are you gonna tell me to do it and then fucking not do it yourself, right? Like yeah, like everyone else is doing it this way Like why are you calling me out like on like on it? You know, yeah, I'm even a new guy and I get it I'm probably they probably don't want to stop that from happening with new hires or whatever.

It was annoying man for sure But then again, it's also because I kind of hate my job, so So that's what that's what made you think of that at the beginning well that in like situation well that interesting like kind of like Oh, man, come on man. That's the build it's okay. Okay, so like oh here we go here guys You're with a significant other you have a significant other obviously Rebecca, right? Yeah doesn't like obviously couples get to arguments Yeah, it's no, I don't know what you're talking about, but yeah Never argue she she is my world she is perfect Blink really really fast if you need help.

Yeah, she's standing right next to me. I can't do that No, but yeah, no like like have that like Spit it out Has she ever like told you something that like oh, why don't you like text me more? Or why don't you like initiate more right, but it's like they don't either or something No, that's a double standard. You know I've had that experience where I've had you know people something like oh why like you should text me more often It's like well fucking I do but you fucking don't throw me a bone in the conversation.

So it's like right Yeah, yeah, like like there's no point in me doing that You know and they're like oh you ghosted me below. It's like no bitch like you fucking contribute Yeah, who did this to you man? It's no it's not like one specific person But it's like you know like you're talking about in the dating world right like fucking like that's my thought process like like bitches be like oh Don't me don't hit me with the hey like you go through this effort. You jump in the hoops.

Oh my god. That's so funny It's like fucking all right you fucking Captain obvious over here like what else you gonna say right right yeah, and because after that it's like You want to go with the whole like like How was your day? It's like well fucking now the conversation's just dying out right? Yeah, no like Has like you've never had that you've never had like a partner or you you know not to let's go over pick out She ever tell you do something but she won't do it herself sometimes You just be like you could you could have easily like the amount of time you you spent Trying to get me to do the thing you could have done it in that same amount of time Um, I'm trying to think no, I don't think so like and I'm not trying to say we're perfect or whatever argue because we do but there's never anything like It's because she Told me to do something but she doesn't even do it herself.

You know what I mean like we kind of In my household Chris we we have this thing called a chore wheel Like I was about to believe you first like it. No, we do split up like stuff You know what I mean like yeah, I do the dishes because she cooks or you know, I clean the floors because she cleans the bathrooms or I walk the dog because she feeds him, you know, I mean like stuff like that, but I don't think I've ever really experienced anything With her or she would tell me yeah, like I said where she would tell me to do something and I don't or she doesn't do it herself because Yeah, no, no, no, no, no, I'm trying honestly. It's awkward man. It's an awkward moment.

It's like fucking Hey, but he wrote me. Is this someone we say no Sure. Yes, we're positive. No, it's it's not what you're thinking about Interesting.

Yes. Interesting. Okay. Well, it's a kind of be a devil's advocate then You know the whole They would tell you like oh you should text me more but then they don't text you more or they tell you like oh, why don't you uh converse more but then they don't converse more like they don't throw you about I think at that point Maybe you guys really don't having to talk about with each other.

You know what I mean? Because with me and then and then they complain about being ghosted. It's like no you go through yourself Well, I'm saying both parties though. Like I'm saying like no, I would never do anything wrong Okay, and again, this is I'm not calling you out specifically or whatever, but maybe you you guys are both boring, you know Like I don't know what your conversations are right.

No, yeah, talk to this person, but uh-huh It could be that vicious little circle. You know, I mean like okay So for example, one of my things that I hate a lot is like petty people right like petty people say okay See that's that's that's a double standard though because you're petty No, no, no, no, no, listen, listen Like the petty people that uh-huh to the point where Their pettiness just continuously contributes to why they're being petty about something Okay, and I'll give you a specific example like okay, let's say you're talking to somebody right and you know You guys are conversing and always see the conversation started like down or like maybe they're they're one word They're one wording you right they're like, okay, so you start one wording them back Okay, right and you guys are just going back and forth back and forth with all this fucking shit and you start to be petty about it And you're like, you know what you're gonna do that shit. I'm gonna do that shit and then they're like, well, you're gonna do that shit I'm gonna do that shit and then just continuously continuously continues like I hate that shit You know what I mean? Oh, we're like where it just continues to escalate yeah And how am I petty?

You're you're just so petty dude. Tell me you show your work No, that's just kind of the vibe I get You can't tell somebody that they're petty and then be like, yeah, just the vibe I get you know, I can't I just did No, no, that's that's stupid You're stupid. You can't you you're only saying that because you don't know what else to say No, okay. No, you can't back it up.

No. Yeah, I don't actually think you're petty. You lie. I know you think I'm petty No, I really don't Like I can't okay.

I probably Okay, so it's happening. I probably do say I probably do feel like you petty at times but I can prove it But that's because I have horrible memory. No, you can't use that. No, you can't use that crutch, bro That's that's the truth though.

No, that's not You say you have terrible memory, but you really don't because I really do though No, because you remember the most randomest shit ever and you can't tell me that you have bad memory Yeah, I do remember random shit. That doesn't mean I'm good memory. That's true. Fair enough You know, I just remember random shit like all right.

I got me there I can see Also, what do you mean? I remember random shit bro? You remember random ass shit Like ran random ass shit like shit from when we were like three years old and I'm just like how when you can't even remember That I texted you yesterday and you didn't reply. Oh Like that's what I mean by you remember random ass shit That's how it's rad you that's all in brand.

That's really on brand for me No So what else what else what else makes this person make you so mad? No, it's making me mad I feel like you're trying to finish something out of me. I am I'm trying to get something for our audience members They haven't had you know what we're gonna change this whole episode to an update on Chris's life now And they need I have talked to our listeners and they said we need an update on Chris's life No, who is saying this? Listen, or one listener or one while listener out there your mom There's no way my mom listen.

I hope she would listen this No, do you know no one wants to know about that? I'm pretty sure I'm pretty sure that you know what after I post this episode I'm gonna post a poll and ask people do you want to update on Chris's love life and they're gonna I'm gonna say yes or yes, and they're gonna vote yes Oh my gosh, do you know no one was here about that. Do you know what I was here about that? Hey, do you think uh pay like money between like women and men is it those savor?

What do you mean like who pays? No, I'm sorry the pay that they get oh like oh like men are paid more than win Oh, no, because I mean I really feel like that's not a thing What do you mean? It's not thing. I don't think there's a I I don't think I don't think that's a thing Why have you seen a woman's paycheck compared to yours?

Well, no, but I've had women bosses and I'm sure they make more than me Okay, I'm not talking about someone who's higher tier than you bro I'm gonna be talking about people who are in the same tier yet one get paid one gets paid differently because they're a woman Yeah, I don't know. I feel like that's another thing. I feel like we're paid the same So you mean to tell me a co who's a woman compared to another CEO who's a man get paid exactly the same You you leave that well. No, that's different.

What are you talking about? That's exactly what I'm talking about But there's no there's different variables in that there's like what are they the CEO of how is your business doing? Is it in North America? Is it in South America like you know like You're you know what you're pissing off a lot of women listeners right now.

You're sounding you're sounding so ignorant That's my privilege Honestly, you know what that's another thing. Okay, so sometimes Rebecca will tell me like when she tries to explain something to me And I'm just like no, I've never experienced that she'd be like because you're privileged I'm like what? Like how does that make me privileged? Yeah, just because I don't just because I haven't experienced that doesn't mean I'm privileged I think a lot that's more of a cultural thing though, right?

Like Right, I think that's more culture than privilege. I don't know. I think so for example Well, I'm trying to get specific. You know what?

I'm not text right now and see if you can remember a specific example Hey, no Yeah, no, so like we're talking about privilege. No before that. We're talking about money pay or yeah, no, I mean like To me, okay. No, it's not that I don't believe in something.

I guess like Because I always believed in I might be a little naive in this I guess but I always thought Whoever was most qualified was being paid the most money or whatever And whenever I would interact with my coworkers, obviously like someone be more knowledgeable than I would be and so I assume that they more They make more money than I do Like that's how I like You've seen there's been articles. There's been like talks like all this stuff about how There is a pay difference between men and women and you you're still telling me no Okay, hold on before you're trying to get me canceled off the internet here. That's what you're saying It's not mansplaining. Okay, stop mansplaining.

That's that's your mansplaining right now. That's not cool, man How my mansplaining? It's only You you asking that is a mansplaining? How is that a mansplaining?

How? How's it? No, but okay. See this is this okay.

I said this is what I'm saying. Oh, hold on hold on hold on hold on hold on hold on hold on hold on No, I'm gonna just what you said. Okay. Yes, there are articles right?

Yes, I And yes, there are studies. Have I read them? No. Do I know all about them?

No, but I do like But you know what? I don't like I know of them at a point like I heard this point of you once where it's like um That like if there is a difference in like pay between men and women, right? It could be because of like some of the benefits which makes sense like Like the maternity leave might be longer than the paternity leave, right? Right.

Okay And so it makes sense that like they get less pay because they get more time off From a business standpoint sure No, I'm asking you that when you're trying to get it No, I think it's just that like if the maternity leave is longer obviously from a business standpoint, you're gonna want to adjust You're just you're gonna want to adjust it a little bit, right? Because you as a business owner Like you need to have employees who are there to like do employee work, right? And like yes, like maternity leave is like granted and stuff and it should be paid for and it's great and all that good stuff But it's like from the business owner's perspective though. It's also or even from the business owner's perspective Even from a general business perspective, it's like to keep your business going You're gonna want to invest into things or opportunities or people who are there to help grow your business and unfortunately at the end of the day Like you spending time with your family member regardless of your gender, right?

It doesn't help grow a business I you know like So I mean in terms of that like maybe there is a big app. No Is that like kind of justified? I mean depends on like what you believe in right? But I'm pretty sure that's just kind of like some of the logic that's there I'm totally gonna get canceled off the internet.

I'll get someone to hate for this Yeah, I mean Yeah, I don't know like I have it personally seen it right obviously and but I'm not gonna Yeah, I don't I don't know how it probably there is. I don't know how we can fix it. Yeah, or whatever. Yeah, no for sure But yeah, I just yeah, I just think that one particular section if you play back the tape People are probably gonna be willing to get you.

Oh probably like I'm really glad like I don't I'm not like famous But this means I can't get famous now. Well, basically yeah, yeah, um real quick. So We were talking about Being privileged and whatnot and I I guess this is these were the examples that Rebecca came up with for me So she would say like whenever my parents would bring home like The toys I would see on TV like what want that and then the next not okay, not necessarily the next day but like maybe for my birthday or christmas They had gotten it for me right whereas like her for example would maybe get something on christmas right or like my parents Or how we would always Go out to eat like maybe like every other friday throughout the year whereas she would only go out like once a year or Yeah, stuff like that. So I'm like Like I guess it kind of makes sense.

But at the same time, it's like well. I didn't force my parents to do that Yeah, you know, I mean like they just They did it. I'm sorry No, no, I didn't know I get where Rebecca's coming from Why like I remember no because all right. So like when I went to the Philippines, right?

Yeah like Like I felt I definitely felt privileged for sure Because like when you know when you go there and you you're 18 and you see someone else who's 18 But they're living on the streets like not even on the streets like in a fucking jungle Yeah, and they're just trying to make it like day by day and like here I am just going to school like eating hamburgers and hot dogs Like fuck like fuck like you can't deny that's privileged. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

I think it's good to be Oh, go ahead But to be fair though, that's privileged like by circumstance not by like Not well, I guess privileges are always done by circumstances, right? Like you can't voluntarily be Privileged or not privileged. I suppose right? Like like like white privilege.

You can't just be like, I don't want to use my privilege today. It just kind of happens to you No, seriously. Yeah. No.

Yeah. Yeah for sure. I think okay. So I think the reason why I Like again, I'm not saying that or okay.

So yeah, maybe I didn't see it as a kid growing up getting all these nice stuff That my parents offered me. I mean I didn't see it as being privileged I saw it as like oh my gosh like my parents are the best, you know, I mean like that's how I saw it and clearly I probably was As a spoiler privileged or whatever and I think for me like when she she calls me out on that stuff Like I think it hurts me or not hurts me But it makes me feel like I'm not like a privilege because when I hear privileged I sometimes associate that with like being bad, you know, I mean like oh, you're privileged Like you you never had to struggle but there were times where like my parents went rich We lost our house early on, you know, I mean like we had to move from house to house My parents literally had to sit down and be like listen We can't be getting all these nice things anymore. We can't be doing this anymore Like they should have had that talk to us, you know, I mean, so like that's why I'm like That's why sometimes I don't see it as I was being privileged because we still had those struggles, you know, I mean, yeah We're like thinking about it now. Yeah, I probably was privileged But I think I just want to sort of I guess defend myself and be like but I still fucking worked hard too, you know, yeah You know, you know who's who's fucking there's some people that I know they are really fucking privileged and they're gonna say like um Or Like it's that's kind of hard because when you Well, I don't know if you ever thought about this but like when I when I grow up When I grow up like I'm already fucking grown When I have the financial needs like I definitely want to be able to give my kids or whoever Like things that they want I'm not gonna fucking spoil them and be like if they ask me for it one day Boom get it that same day But I want to be able to like provide for them right and give them things But what I was gonna say because I don't know if I could really say this is just that you know, there's some There's some kids in our family who are well off than other kids, you know, and sometimes I feel bad when I see See them and see the other people are well off and I'm like, yeah, yeah And they're spoiled but then again at the same time.

It's like the parents that worked hard Yeah, they worked hard, but I don't know I think it's also just a fucking bitter feeling because Yeah, you know, so also it's I think it's like a different like growing up I guess it's like you couldn't really see into other people's lives so much But now like you do have this overabundance of sharing like there's Facebook Instagram tick-tock snapchat Yeah, you know like there is an overabundance of oversharing and like it's easy to paint like a lifestyle that you don't have you know Like I like you know, like I've done that by accident Like with my family in the Philippines like before when I actively posted on Instagram and Facebook Like I put pictures in my car about like me buying new stuff, right? But it's like in between those posts and between the time of me buying it once we go by But it would look like more freaking like oh, I just bought this when I did it, you know, right And it's like it's easy to paint like a picture of you living a lifestyle that you might not actually have You know Yeah, that's true. So I mean, but yeah, this is like the whole fucking This Hey Why do you give a better hi? No, don't do that She's eating she's eating eminums But anyways, um, let's get this could be a whole another topic, but I do want to talk about How certain kids are raised money wise.

Oh, yeah, but that's enough of that. Maybe maybe for later. Oh next time part two Yeah, so thanks for listening. That was talking on since I'm cop.

Oh, Christopher. Yeah, we'll talk to you guys next time
