It can be discouraging when you don’t feel like you’ve arrived yet.But Philippians 1:6 reminds us of something powerful: God finishes what He starts.That means if He started a good work in you — He’s not done yet.Think about how an artist paints a masterpiece. It doesn’t look complete in the middle — there are messy brushstrokes and layers that don’t make sense yet. But the artist knows exactly what the finished picture will look like.That’s how God works in us. Even when all we see is the mess, He sees the masterpiece.Sometimes, God’s work takes time. Joseph spent years in prison before God fulfilled His plan. Moses spent forty years in the wilderness before leading Israel. Even the disciples made mistakes before they became bold preachers of the gospel. But in every story, God didn’t quit — He completed His purpose.So if you feel stuck or unfinished right now, remember this: you are a work in progress, and that’s okay. The God who began His work in you has no intention of leaving you halfway. He’s still shaping you, still growing you, and still writing your story — and He always finishes strong.
