Episode 56: Saying Yes When Called

from Aligned Mommas Podcast

Some people are silent heroes - meet Cheri Winchester. Cheri joins the podcast with Samantha and Nikki to share all about her heart for youth in Lincoln County, Missouri. Cheri is a wife and a mother of two. It was her position at a local community resource board that led to her discovering some harsh realities about child homelessness in the area, which broke her heart and inspired her to take action! Cheri and her team started a 501c3 called The Key to provide a home to homeless children. The Key serves as a place where teens can finally feel loved, protected, and be reminded that they too still have a purpose! It's a place where, quite frankly, kids can finally just be kids! After each teen completes the program, The Key aims to "launch" them into a successful adulthood - and Cheri shares some of her favorite success stories to date!Listen in and fall in love with Cheri just as Samantha and Nikki have! We guarantee you'll leave inspired to say yes the next time you are called! Just say yes! :)Cheri, we are so proud of you! May God bless The Key and you for all your selflessness!HOW TO SUPPORT THE KEY:Donate hereIf you are local to Troy, MO, please consider reaching out to The Key at [email protected] or or 636-338-1462 or by visiting their Facebook page.As always, thank you SO MUCH for listening and coming alongside the Aligned Momma's mission.
