Episode 56 - The Boys Season 2 Finale

Welcome back people, to yet another fantastic episode of the Talkin' TV podcast!!!! I can't believe it's been five weeks. Absolutely nuts. This year is almost over and I'm still not sure if I'm looking forward to what's coming down the line. But am I talking about real life or am I talking about the Boys? In this episode, Chris & Dom fulfill a promise they made to their audience 5 weeks ago, when, against all odds, Amazon's hit new show the Boys returned with a vengeance for its sophomore season. The gore was upped, the stakes were raised, and the show had all new statements to make about our obsession with superheroes and how corporations and the media use that to brainwash us. This season had a whole bunch of new surprises, from a Nazi supervillain, doppelgangers, super experiments, character revelations and a man with a giant dick. It was a lot. But the overall question is...was this season better than the gangbusters first season? Well, I guess you'll have to tune in to find out, but it was complicated to say the least. Enjoy.
