Therefore, on this episode of Baconsale, we’ll be examining the filmography of once-popular directors like Tom Hooper, Cameron Crowe, Patty Jenkins, Joss Whedon, J.J. Abrams, Nancy Meyers, and Terry Gilliam. After reviewing their cases, we’ll decide if they deserve to stay in director’s jail, should be allowed out on probation, or should be released to make movies freely again. Should someone’s reputation be ruined because of one garbage (grabage?) movie? Can a movie be iconic but not good? Does the age of a director matter?
