Episode 57: Aliens Took My Eggs, I Guess
from earth: a love story · host Robin Lassiter
I agonized over the name of the episode. I think I nailed it. Really, though, it's a tough subject and there is trauma here. A lot of it. Ontological re-ordering and fear and truly what, for me, amounts to childhood s*xual abuse that has colored all of my relationships, particularly romantic and s*xual ones. So the part of my that wants to stay light and glib and humorous is protective. And I get that, and I have Grace for myself. I hope you have some for yourself, too. Also, often when I'm compelled to talk about stuff I don't want to talk about, what happens is that once I have the bones pretty fleshed out even before I release it into the world, it is no longer mine. It's a thing moving through me, and it no longer belongs to me. It becomes an entity that goes out and does its own work in the world. That's what my book was, too. This is my job. And I consent. David Huggins artwork Love and Saucers I haven't read these books, but they were recommended to me as a way to enter into this subject. And they're written by women, which is nice. Into the Fringe Custodians: Beyond Abduction ALIEN: Contacts and Abductions The Experiencer Group My book is out!! Earth: A Love Story exists as a physical object in the world.
