The conference's wide-ranging agenda spotlighted key questions and trends emerging from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' recent activity, including the publication of the first group of drugs selected for negotiation under the IRA and the release of a proposed Medicaid regulation earlier this summer.  Representatives from the Federal Trade Commission emphasized the agency's interest in pharmacy benefit managers, while the Office of the Inspector General explained that the IRA will be a key focus in the coming year.
