Episode #57: Quarantine Edition | Literal God Tier with Jean-François Gravel of Dieu du Ciel | Adjunct Series

The last time we hung out with JF on the pod was back at their winter bottle release in St. Jerôme in 2017. We'd kicked it at one of our fave events of the year, Journée Péché, every March for the past few winters but we were long overdue to have the guy who created the greatest coffee stout in the country back on the pod for a long chat. This interview was basically our own private, virtual Journée Péché with the legend himself. We cracked open both the 2020 and 2021 Péché Packs, including the Sidama Coffee, Blackcurrant, Mexican and Bourbon variants, while we got deep into the history of Péché Mortel, how he feels about the event being cancelled two years running, how DDC pivoted during COVID, his stance on NEIPAs and pastry stouts, and a lot more. As always, this was an engaging conversation with someone who changed the game in Canada. Enjoy, cheers!  This episode is sponsored by Doctor Nick's Amazing Man Stuff!  BONUS OFFER: Receive 15% off your next Doctor Nick's Amazing Man Stuff order with code BAOS21 plus free shipping in North America with orders over $40. | www.doctornicks.com BAOS Podcast Subscribe to the podcast on YouTube | Website | Theme tune: Cee - BrewHeads
