In order to get results in our training, we are going to have to train with high intensity and often times close to failure. That said, we shouldn’t be doing this all of the time. It is important to regulate our intensity within our training and account for ‘deloads’ when necessary. A deload can give us the mental and physical recovery we need in order to spring board us further along in our training.
