Episode 582-INXS-ELEGANTLY WASTED

This week on America’s Podcast, we’re heading back to 1997 and talking about the final INXS studio album recorded with the legendary Michael Hutchence — Elegantly Wasted. Joining us is Free Form family member Eric Lussier, and we’ve got one big question: Is Elegantly Wasted a lost classic of the ’90s? Was this an album that deserved WAY more attention than it got? How does it stand up against the classic INXS records? And knowing this would become Michael Hutchence’s final album with the band, does hearing it today hit completely fucking differently? Oh, we’ve got opinions. 😂🤘 We discuss. We disagree. We argue. We agree. Then somebody probably disagrees with the thing we just agreed about. You know… basically a normal episode of Free Form Rock Podcast. 🤣 But that’s ALL you’re getting. NO FUCKING SPOILERS. You’ll have to listen and find out where everybody lands on Elegantly Wasted. 🎵 TRACKS OF THE WEEK 🔥 Andy: Crowded House — “Don’t Dream It’s Over” 🔥 Mooger: Iconic — “Cry No More” 🔥 Jerry: Matchbox Twenty — “3AM” 🔥 Eric: Steve Creep and the Wildcards — “Black Leather” 🔥 Marc: Midnight Oil — “Beds Are Burning” And while you’re here, don’t just listen to us — COME WATCH THE DAMN SHOW! 😂📺🤘 Subscribe to the Free Form Rock Podcast YouTube channel and watch the faces behind all the arguments, agreements, questionable opinions, assorted bullshit, and general Free Form shenanigans.
