She and Bingham Group CEO A.J. discuss Draft 1 of the Land Development Code (LDC) and the launch of Planning Our Communities (POC), a group formed to build and maintain affordable housing, fight gentrification and displacement, and build healthy and diverse homes and neighborhoods for communities of color and working class people in Austin through outreach, education and advocacy. ABOUT MAYOR PRO TEM DELIA GARZA Mayor Pro Tem Delia Garza is serving her second term on Austin City Council and was elected by her colleagues to serve as Mayor Pro Tem in January, 2019. She is the first Latina to serve on the City Council in Austin, and is the first to serve as Austin’s Mayor Pro Tem.
