Me and Scarlet take another back seat this week as we feature our main interview. Anyone who has worked in the US will know that US productions and  performers do not accept tests done in the UK. The obvious reason for this is that our testing standards in the UK are out of date. At least 10 years out of date. Terry Stephens aka One Eyed Jack (UKAP member and producer) was charged with meeting now retired porn star/ agent Shy Love to engage with Dr Sixto Pacheco the owner of Talent Testing Services to bring this latest state of the art testing system to the UK. Despite warnings that the UK business is largely in disarray for a variety of reasons discussed in the recording, the biggest problem was that UKAP announced its breakaway from the testing issue because it was simply powerless to do anything about it without models cooperation and support. The recent HIV scare magnified the problem for UKAP that many performers didn't want producers "meddling" with this issue so it was felt to protect producers best interests that they include an additional line of text on their releases for performers to agree they have inspected the tests of those they are working with to avoid any  legal repercussions that may arise from later. An example of this was discussed briefly with about a US producer being sued for non disclosure with a performer who it is alleged, became HIV + as a result of sexual involvement that did not include penetration Talent Testing Services works extensively with and beyond LATATA.ORG (Licensed Adult Talent Agency Association) The US leads the way in running a professionally licensed business that would lend huge credit to professional UK companies in terms of self regulation, standards and performer confidence in the event of a breakout that a situation will be properly quarantined by Talent testing Services database structure unlike the out of date system in place right now. Sixto explains the procedures and the benefits of the services Talent Testing provides on an international level with centralised testing facilities and access that does not contravene the data protection laws. The cost of this service was discussed as well a a step by step procedure of the testing phase. A lot was discussed. We end the show with a question for Scarlet and of course a sex fact of the week.
