Episode 59 Upland Chief Of Police Marcelo Blanco

Years of Service: 1991-PresentBorn in Argentina, Marcelo moved to the United States from Madrid, Spain when he was 5 years old. He grew up in the Los Angeles area and in high school began working for the Upland Police Department. During his career, Marcelo worked patrol, was a DARE instructor, School Resource Officer, and crisis and hostage negotiator. Marcelo was also assigned to the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force and later became a detective where he worked on cases involving commercial theft, auto theft, child abuse, and sex crimes. Marcelo worked through the ranks and is currently the Upland Chief of Police.
