Episode 59: Walking the Narrow Way: From Wilderness to Garden

'Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.'Now from Exodus 16:1-4 — when God’s people walked the wilderness road:'The whole Israelite community set out from Elim and came to the Desert of Sin... In the desert the whole community grumbled against Moses and Aaron. The Israelites said to them, "If only we had died by the Lord’s hand in Egypt!" Then the Lord said to Moses, "I will rain down bread from heaven for you. The people are to go out each day and gather enough for that day."'And finally, from Revelation 22:1-2 — the garden restored:'Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb... On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.'"
