Rabbi Berkson picks up at verse 145 pointing out how throughout this psalm King David has made the connection between petitioning The Almighty, and expressing why He should grant it and why the petitioner wants it. As Rabbi Berkson questions that as all of us have called out to The Almighty, “Answer me” – can we say with honesty and integrity, “I observe Your laws”?The Almighty created you to, at first, receive from Him. Then, as we have believed in His Son, Messiah Yeshua, and walk the path of righteousness, we become a ‘new creature’ that rises from the “Below”, the elementary things of this earth, to the “Above”, the things of Heaven.
